Here’s a track you should definitely check out simply because her voice is amazing. The vocals are sung by Khalada Smith, she’s an upcoming singer who has a huge range and a great voice. So I definitely suggest taking a listen and downloading the track here. You’ll thank me for turning you on to this great singer before she gets picked by a major. You’ll definitely be hearing a lot more from her in the future and if I get my way you’ll probably be hearing her over some Bass sometime soon.

GlobalGrind is confirming this very sad news.  One of my heroes growing up Adam Yauch aka MCA of the Beastie Boys has passed this morning after a long bout with cancer. The Beastie Boys ‘Licensed to Ill’ was one of the first albums I ever bought when I was first started collecting vinyl. The Beasties were definitely trend setters in their own right and evolved with the times but always stayed true to their roots.

Miami is getting a proper documentary about the beginnings of the Miami Bass Sound. The 80′s and early 90′s were a special time down in South Florida when Miami embraced that 808 kick drum that we have all grown to live and love. I personally can’t wait for the release of this one so stay tuned and check out the trailers!

Kraftwerk had a 3D performance in October of this year. I am still waiting and hoping the day comes when I can see them live.

Plastikman Live will be interactive for any fans with Hawtin’s free SYNK iPhone application, which feature live chat, a live behind-the-curtain camera feed and more interactive elements. “These dates will represent the last opportunities for fans to catch Plastikman Live in its current form,” says Hawtin, “the 1.5 version of the show we’ve spent nearly a year of fine-tuning. After that, Plastikman will be returning to the shadows to begin work on a brand new 2.0 concept.”

Usually I don’t post stuff like this but found the Kernkraft “Zombie Nation” kind of interesting especially after that Akon song featuring Ludacris that samples the Blade techno song that came out not to long ago. I’m wondering if things are starting to head this way a bit?
